Its construction started in 1929, it was blessed in 1937 and consecrated in 1954. Its walls and the crypt walls are decorated with mosaics reflecting on the message of Ste Therese. There are relics of the saint in the Basilica transept.
Opposite the Basilica, underground, the C.A.P.I. "Centre d'Accueil Pastoral International" opens up for you into a large bookshop and exhibition areas and conference and film-theatre rooms.
