 Flowers in the church all the year round
Facing the Castle, the Abbé Marie garden reminds us of the importance of flowers and foliage in religious feasts.
Flowers and foliage have always accompanied celebrations. However, the floral displays used for religious ceremonies during the first half of the 20th century were particularly sumptuous. Branches, foliage, stalks, flowers or petals were used to decorate altars, statues and processions. This old cemetery is now a place of remembrance where it is possible to discover these rich traditions. Twenty-two celebrations are presented here by means of as many flower-covered stones.

Gardens of Boutemont Castle
|
 The Château de Boutemont, 12th , 15th, 16th and 18th centuries, is listed in the Supplementary Inventory of Historic Monuments. It has four corner towers, a Henri II postern, a drawbridge, and is surrounded by dry moats. Chapel, greenhouse, basin, orangery, various gardens created by Achille Duchêne, creation of a new Italian Renaissance garden, all in a green setting. Remarkable gardin with century-old trees, topiary and box.

Bishopric Garden

 This garden, thought to have been drawn by Le Nôtre, who designed the gardens at Versailles, is next to the old Bishop's Palace and Cathedral. A really quiet spot right in the town centre.
